Shane’s love for Hawaii is an integral part of his artistic expression. He embraces and conveys this love in all his reflections.

Deidre Tegarden was born in Altoona Pennsylvania, became an international entrepreneur in 1990 when she co-established her first company in Hiroshima, Japan shortly after graduating from the University of Maryland. Using Hiroshima as a base, Deidre established business and professional ties through Japan in Mainland China before coming back to the USA and settling in Hawaii.
Her fluency in Japanese and Chinese brought many offers and opportunities in Hawaii. Her clients ranged from hotels to art galleries and international education and business exchanges before she was hired as Associate Executive Director for the Hula Bowl Maui All-Star Football Classic.
Deidre introduced the Hula Bowl to American Football groups in Japan and over the next few years Japanese college players were included in the Hawaiian bowl game. While at the Hula Bowl, she met photographer Shane Tegarden and in November 2003, Deidre Kelley became Deidre Tegarden and partner in Shane Tegarden Photography.
Deidre brings her interest in the arts and international designs such as ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement), her expertise in management, international marketing and all around skills of “Good Will Ambassador” to the company. Deidre is the immediate past president of the Rotary Club of Kahului.
